Fine Art Consulting
The real intention of a professional and serious Art Gallery is to be prepared and able to recognize a true artist and promote him.
Art buyers deserve to purchase works of art not only to enjoy them but also as an investment, such that as time goes by, not only do the works maintain a visual interest but also the amount paid is not lost rather it grows.
The responsibility of the Gallery (art dealer or marchant d'art) is very large, as the collector seeks advice and trusts the establishment from which he is purchasing and therefore the Gallery must know how to respond to that trust in return.
Manuel Chacon´s extensive experience in the art world allowed him to create an additional service; Fine Art Consulting.
Manuel ChacónArchitect
Manuel Chacon Vargas was born to create. Hence his passion for architecture, extending to any object. His grandfather, Manuel Chacon y Palacios was a great Spanish architect and engineer who made works with steel structures such as the Central station in the Chilean capital and others that were mistakenly attributed to Eiffel, in Chile. His grandson Matías, currently studies architecture and stands out as a brilliant student having won a major project for a bridge over the river that runs through the heart of Santiago. As you can see: creativity runs in the Chacon´s genes.
At only seven years old, Manuel Chacon designed and built his first house. It was built of bricks with the help of his brother, cousins and friends. As a great fan of archeology, and his admiration and respect for the works of builders from the past, he did restoration work of old buildings for three years in Tuscany, Italy.
SMA later called him in to restore two important houses in the heart of the City. One is the mansion known as the House of the Inquisitor. Both properties were in a deplorable state and ended up recovering all their glory.
His particular style was marked at the house "Forests of the Hills" in 1982 in Mexico City. Leonora Carrington when she saw it, she cried: "Petra! Petra! ..." Since it had been built completely against a tepetate hill.
Prestigious and renowned Restaurants, Art galleries and Hotels have been part of his creation. He claims to be a passionate lover of beauty.

Manuel ChacónDesigner
Manuel Chacón is a born designer. For him, nothing is new; everything can be found in nature. His observations are accumulated and stored in his mind and subsequently flow out to give life to a new design.
Fashioned from all types of materials, like marble and wood, as well as glass, steel and bronze, these designs can decorate any style of home: from a Mexican rustic abode to a French castle. Chacóns exclusive designs include tables, shelves, lamps and other objects conceived through his imagination and have been exhibited in Mexico, Chile, France, Belgium, Holland, Italy and the United States.
Forever exuding his characteristic style, and despite a certain simplicity, his works preserve an astounding complexity. They blend a wide variety of objects; a simple iron rod combined with an ancient bronze ornament or an old wooden gothic-style column could produce a magnificent lamp, accented with his personalized signature.
Important collectors from Mexico City, Santa Fe, Tokyo, The Hague, Florence, Rome and Paris among other cities have commissioned special pieces from Manuel Chacón and his lamps are demanded by renowned interior decorators from both the United States and Europe.
